Community news

The Cutteslowe Community Centre kitchen has been awarded a five star rating! We had an unannounced visit from the Council on 6 February 2024 and are proud to report that they found the hygiene standards in our kitchen are very good and fully comply with the law, achieving the highest “very good” rating. We wanted to share this news – and thank all those who work so hard in our kitchen to cater for our community.

The Cutteslowe Community Larder: from 2pm-4pm every Wednesday – open to all, it has it own Facebook page where you can find out what £3.50 can buy you each week. The Larder is celebrating the creativity in our community by displaying each week a piece of work made or created by someone in our community. You can view the work of the ‘Artist of the Week’ displayed in the Centre on Wednesdays during The Larder.

Citizens Advice Oxford: Wednesdays from 1pm – 3pm. These drop in sessions at the Cutteslowe Community Centre provide free, independent and confidential advice about benefits, debts, housing, problems at work and consumer issues. Please come as early as possible and be prepared to wait.

Starting 24 January 2024, the sessions run once a fortnight alongside the Baby Hub – check the Sunnymead Minnows Facebook page for other dates.
