CUTTESLOWE COMMUNITY CENTRE
hub for welfare, educational and recreational activities for local residents of all ages.
Situated on the edge of Cutteslowe and SunnyMead Park, the Centre is home to a wide range of activities and events enjoyed by many members of the community, young and old alike.
It is available for hire, either as the whole centre or individual rooms. With updated kitchen and washroom facilities it’s suitable for private events such as birthday parties and other special occasions as well as individual groups or organisational meetings, conferences and training. Broadband and wi-fi is available throughout the Centre, which is fully accessible.

Main Hall
Chairs (for approx. 70) live in the hall at all times, 12x 6ftx2ft tables stored in the large cupboard opposite entrance to the hall.
Blu-tooth surround sound, ceiling mounted projector and retractable projector screen available for an additional cost of £10. Please do not use without instruction.

Kitchen
Our kitchen was completely refitted in 2022. The kitchen has a large serving hatch into the main hall.
Double oven, induction hob, fridge, hot water urn for tea and coffee, kettle, microwave, catering dishwasher (please ask for instruction before use)
Crockery, glasses, mugs, children’s plastic crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, jugs, large hot water dispensing flasks, a selection of trays, bowls and serving equipment

Prices for room hire
Some of our regular groups and one-off hirers opt for exclusive use of the whole centre. Perfect for larger events, gatherings or training days where you may have multiple activities within your event running at once, or maybe simply to give your attendees the option of quiet spaces to take a break away from the action!

Parking
We neighbour the local Primary School, so have ample parking during evenings and weekends but need to prioritise child safety during school hours. We ask Centre users who park in the car park not to move their cars during school drop off and pick up times between the hours of 8.30-9.00am and 3.00-3.40pm Monday-Friday. It is also important to park only within marked bays and not block either the entrance to school or staff cars as teachers regularly need to move their cars, and emergency service access must be possible at all times.
There is a free, additional car park just across Sunnymead Green on Water Eaton Road. There are also lots of four-hour parking spaces on Wolsey, Wren, Aldrich and Water Eaton Road, and three disabled parking spaces directly in front of the Community Centre on Wren Road.

We require a £50/£100 cash deposit (refundable) to cover any damage incurred.
