The session begins at 3:30pm. Parents will need to collect children from school and bring them to the Centre. Pick up time at the end of the class is 4.30pm.
We no longer charge for after school clubs, but IF you are in a position to make a donation* to the Community Centre, this will help us to deliver this service long term. The Centre receives no direct funding so we are entirely dependent on donations, fundraising and income from renting out the Centre. Why Pilates? Pilates is an exceptionally useful exercise system for improving the function of your musculoskeletal system in everyday life or to enhance your sports performance. For the general population Pilates is a useful activity for improving coordination and mobility, contributing to a healthier posture and preventing back pain. For more active sportspeople it’s a fantastic additional activity that helps to compensate for one-sided training load, prevent injury and improve overall athletic performance. Pilates is not an aerobic activity for losing weight: instead it very effectively sculps muscle and contributes to well-being and confidence for all its participants regardless of their individual goals.
Contact Magda at mylates@gmail.com to book a trial class or a regular slot. Classes are usually full, so please don’t just show up – you may not get to exercise!
