Cutteslowe Community Larder

The Cutteslowe Community Larder is open at the Community Centre every Wednesday from 2pm-4pm. Membership is available to anyone living in the Cutteslowe area.

About the Larder

2:00pm – 4:00pm every Wednesday

The Larder provides food support for families in the Cutteslowe area. Food is obtained from the charity SOFEA (working in partnership with Fareshare) and Oxford Food Hub who rescue food from suppliers and supermarkets to redistribute and reduce food waste.

We also enjoy generous contributions of fresh seasonal vegetables from our local allotment owners, plus donations from Sainsbury in Summertown.

We are happy to announce that in 2023, The Hygiene Bank is now providing us with sanitary products too!

Anyone in the Cutteslowe area can become a member of The Larder. For just £3.50 per week, you can get a choice of 10+ food/grocery items – and enjoy meeting with other people in the community for a chat at our free pop up cafe, outside the Community Centre from 1pm every Wednesday.

Run by volunteers, The Larder is a partnership between CCA, SOFEA, the Oxford Hub and St Andrews Church. If you would like to contribute towards the regular provision of food essentials to our community in these times of relative hardship, find out how you can make a difference at
